Google Adwords Keyword tool has been replaced by Keyword Planner

The Google Keyword Tool, an important tool for SEO professionals all over the world has been officially replaced by Keyword Planner. Google Adwords Keyword Tool is no longer being available from 27th August, 2013. Instead, with similar and some additional functionality is now accessible in Google Keyword Planner.

You have to log in to Google Adwords Account to access this tool.

There are three function types on welcome page, which differ in terms of the number of keywords. Search for Keywords and ad group ideas, Enter or Upload keywords to get estimates & Multiply Keyword List to get estimates.



Choose any one from given three options as per your requirement and you begin to access Keyword Planner Tool. There are lots of customized options to choose as per user’s need to get advance keyword research.


New function added to Keyword Planner is that it allows SEO and SEM Professionals to get Keyword Search volume data at City Level with improved geographic partition.
